A non-profit dedicated to feeding the hungry

In 2012 Rabi Marc Labowitz of Temple Adoth Or saw the need, as many do, to feed the homeless and hungry of South Florida. He recognized that there is enough food however much of it is wasted. Nearly half of all food produced never makes it to the belly of a human being. The missing link between the food industry and the hungry is the transportation and redistribution of food that would normally be wasted. Rabi Labowitz has put together a team of driver for an annual project that he has called Allfed. In Allfed’s first year there were approximately a dozen drivers and 20 restaurants. The most recent annual project included 100 restaurants and 50 volunteer drives. In 2015 Allfed has gone from an annual project to one that operates year round.

Feeding and Supporting South Florida…

Food

All-Fed depends on the many restaurants, markets and farms that are able to donate fresh food and produce to those that need it most.

Personal Care Items

The hungry are in need of more than just food.  Pesonal care items, such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, shaving cream, razers, , toilet paper, women’s health items, body lotions and moisturizers are greatly needed,

Delivery

After picking up donations, drivers transport them to homeless shelters, food banks and other distribution centers. The food and other items are then distributed to South Florida’s homeless and hungry.

Donations

Donations play a key role in supporting All-Fed. Your aid will help feed those in need.

Good Samaritan Act Protections

No reason not to donate!  There is no liability on the part of the donor under both the Federal government’s and Florida’s good samaritan food donations acts which eliminate liability for food donations.
Florida Statute 768.136(2):  “A good faith donor or gleaner of any canned or perishable food, apparently fit for human consumption, to a bona fide charitable or nonprofit organization for free distribution shall not be subject to criminal penalty or civil damages arising from the condition of the food, unless an injury is caused by the gross negligence, recklessness, or intentional misconduct of the donor or gleaner.”
